Fr. Ted has served in the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Canada since 2006, when he was ordained to the diaconate. As a deacon, he served the communities of Saint Nicholas and Prophet Elias.

Fr. Ted was ordained to the priesthood at Prophet Elias and was subsequently assigned to his first parish, St. Demetrius Greek Orthodox Church in Winnipeg, Manitoba. After serving there for six years, he returned to the Toronto area and assumed the leadership of Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church.

On March 1, 2023, Fr. Ted returned to Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church in Mississauga to serve as its parish priest.

Fr. Ted earned his Bachelor of Theology from the Patriarchal Toronto Orthodox Theological Academy and his Master of Arts in Theology from Saint Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary in New York. He also pursued Doctor of Ministry studies at Saint Vladimir’s.

He taught Pastoral Theology at the Orthodox School of Theology at Trinity College, University of Toronto, from 2015 to 2018. Since 2014, he has served as Professor of Pastoral Studies at the Patriarchal Toronto Orthodox Theological Academy.
